Paula Rodríguez is an award-winning actress, director, and writer working internationally across theatre, film, and television. In the UK, she has collaborated with directors such as Tim Supple and Kelly Hunter, and performed at leading venues including the Bridge Theatre, the Young Vic, the Orange Tree Theatre, the Cervantes Theatre, and Chichester Festival Theatre.
In Spain, Paula has appeared with the Compañía Nacional de Teatro Clásico, at the Corral de Comedias in Alcalá de Henares, the Almagro International Classical Theatre Festival, Teatro de la Abadía, and Teatre Lliure. Her work has toured extensively across Europe and the Americas, featuring in festivals such as the Golden Age Festival of Ciudad Juárez (Mexico), Festival Internacional de las Artes Escénicas (Uruguay), Nuevo Siglo Drama Festival Chamizal, Heart of America Festival (USA), Gävleborg Folkteatern (Sweden), Shakespeare Festival Neuss (Germany), and the Craiova International Festival (Romania), among others.
On screen, Paula has appeared in series for Channel 4 and TVE1, and has received multiple awards for her short films La Masa (A Simple Recipe) and The Stronger.
She trained at RESAD (Madrid) and holds an MA in Acting from the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama (London). Paula is the co-founder of Teatro Inverso and Project AURIC, both dedicated to reimagining the Classics for diverse, international audiences. She is also a member of the Academia de las Artes Escénicas de España.
